She is a curious scientist, an open minded traveler and a hard worker athlete. Born in Italy, she spent her early years in Brazil. After one year of thesis internship at Yale School of Medicine, she earned a Master degree in Medical Biotechnology at San Raffaele University in Milan. During that time she grew her interest for immunology. Currently she is a PhD student in the Cancer Immunology program at UNIL where she is focusing her research on the pathogenesis of psoriasis. In the future she would like to merge her scientific background with the innovative challenges of industry. She loves playing sports, traveling and spending times with friends. She also took part in several important international figure skating competitions.
Because of her curiosity in innovative ideas and of her desire in seeing these ideas become real products for the market, she joined recently Innovation Forum Lausanne. She is actively involved in the organization of events.
