Luca Szabo
Social Media Manager
Luca holds a PhD from the Institute of Chemical Sciences and Engineering at EPFL, having worked on novel polymeric hydrogels for the immobilization and transplantation of endocrine cells. In particular, she was involved in a multidisciplinary research project to develop an innovative therapy for type 1 diabetes and other cell therapy applications. Prior to that, she obtained a Masters degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Enthusiastic about innovation, the healthcare industry and scientific communication, she joined the Innovation Forum Lausanne as a Social Media Manager to help foster the relationship between academia and industry.
