Nicolas Fumeaux

Nicolas is a doctoral student working on developing new bioelectronic implants using advanced micromanufacturing techniques. He is interested in various topics including microfabrication, artificial intelligence, neurotechnology and neuroscience. He studied at ETHZ (Mechanical engineering), EPFL (Bioengineering/Neuroprosthetics) and Harvard Medical School (Master Thesis). After experiences in startups (G-Therapeutics, Mindmaze), he joined EPFL for a PhD in Microsystems and Microelectronics.

He joined Innovation Forum to be involved in the translation of promising scientific ideas to successful commercial ventures, and to exchange with other scientists interested in entrepreneurship.
