Diana Xie

Diana is a photonics engineer and graduated from Lund University (Sweden) with two masters in photonics engineering and electrical engineering. Diana is currently a PHD student in LQNO group in EPFL with research focused on developing nanoscale system for efficient continuous wavelength upconversion, such system is foreseen to be used for Mid-Infrared light detecting. Diana worked in industry for 3 years after finishing her master studies, afterwards she founded the company LightR with 2 other collaborators. She would wish with our efforts in Innovation Forum Lausanne, to reduce the gap between research and industry.
