Shiv Katiyar is currently working as a Future Food Initiative Fellow at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland where he is involved in the development of soft/flexible robust bioinspired sensors and data analysis of data generated in agri-robotics to make farming more sustainable. Alongside this, he is also involved in the sustainable mobility project which aims at engaging with people, measuring the impact and changing behaviour for greener, healthier behaviour.
He completed his postgraduate studies in Robotics & AI at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A). He obtained a Ph.D from Monash University at its Malaysian campus in the field of Soft Robotics.
He has also gained experience working with software companies such as Verizon Data India as Data Analyst and Prometric Technology Malaysia as Software Engineer.
In his free time, Shiv enjoys reading and travelling, and he loves exploring different cultures and cuisines.
