On March 7th, at the Forum of Rolex Learning Center at EPFL, the finals of My Thesis in 180 Seconds (MT180) were held. On this occasion, 14 doctoral students of EPFL presented their project thesis in 3 minutes in front of a jury of expert and an audience of 600 people.
Alvaro Charlet, a member of Innovation Forum Lausanne, won the first prize. Alvaro is working on structured soft materials, in particular hydrogels. He is investigating and testing new type of hydrogels that could eventually replace broken ligaments.
