Description

On October 16th 2019, from 16h00 to 20h30, Innovation Forum Lausanne will host its Annual Conference at EPFL (CO1 Auditorium) to bring the attention of its varied and broad audience on Materials for Sustainability. This event will highlight how Materials Science is building the fundamental bricks for a more sustainable and greener future. From photovoltaics to construction and recycling, the invited speakers will tackle diverse issues and the high-impact solutions they developed to solve them.

In September 2015 an historic United Nations Summit gathered Heads of State and Government together with high-level leaders from business and civil society to jointly commit to the 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Innovation Forum Lausanne is proud to be part of the movement towards sustainable development by carrying out its activities according to the 17 SDGs. With this in vision, this year edition of Innovation Forum Lausanne Annual Conference will focus on Materials for Sustainability.

The goal of the event is to bring together top scientists, entrepreneurs professional policy makers and experts from established companies to share their ideas and knowledge with the audience. We aim at raising the awareness not only on the current problems, but also on the possible solutions. In particular, we plan to introduce approaches based on new materials, recycling processes and derived technologies as the fundamental bricks to build high-impact solutions.

Save your spot now with a free ticket! Don't miss the opportunity to join the great network of scientists and entrepreneurs during the booth session and apéro.
